Well, most arcades have closed in Rockland County in recent years...
Sadly, the 90's have seen the closing of Alladin's Castle, Super Amusements, Funtasia, and most recently, FunTime. -- Wow.... Mr. Arcade has now closed as well. I spoke to the former owner at the ASI show in Vegas and it is indeed gone for good. That's the end of an era.

The newest (and really only) place to play (albeit a poor selection) is Dave and Busters in the new Palisades Center mall. They have Revenge From Mars and South Park right now (Sept.. '99). Thee is a cover charge after 10pm on Fridays and Saturdays, and you must be 21 after around 7pm. It is a very well done establishment though, and you can even flip a switch on the pin that will call over an attendant for a stuck ball or a waiter to get a drink brought over....

There is also a second arcade in the Palisades Center. It's in the food court and has 3-4 machines in fair condition at 5 balls for $0.50. It's called Smiles and has the same ownership as the now closed Mr. Arcade.

Across the street from where Mr. Arcade was (in the Pathmark shopping center in Nanuet) in a place called Wizard World (a card/comic store w/ a lot of kids running around), they get new pins fairly frequently, though they only have one at a time. Right now, they have Revenge From Mars.

Scary as it is, these are the only pins in Rockland I know of. Other than these your best bet is to go to Sportsworld in Paramus, NJ, or to Nathans in Yonkers, NY.
